EL-Paint
Our EL-Spraypaint is a revolutionary development in coating technology and enables totally new ways of coating complex three dimensional (3D) surfaces.
The technology is based on a lacquer or spraypaint emitting light which is either water-, solvent and/or powder based.
Designing light without any restrictions!
An exclusive interior ambiance with top quality materials is part of the basic configuration of upper class cars at least in Europe. The latest fashion is the so called ambient lighting with electroluminescent (EL) lamps. Up to now it was difficult to apply these lamps on three dimensional surfaces in the vehicle interior as these lamps are manufactured employing a two dimensional screen printing method.
Now it is possible to coat virtually all three dimensional bodies, parts and surfaces directly with an el lamp employing the newly developed lacquer coating method. Resulting through this totally new ways of design and application in interior- or chassis design are possible. The gain in thickness of a XTRA-LIGHT EL lacquer coated part is only around 100 micrometers. Prototypes resulting from perennial development of XTRA DYNAMICS where awarded in June 2008 on the 2.
